We've had a great start to our food drive at GES! We would still love any donations over the next two days to help those in need in our community! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!

Students at GES made bookmarks last week to celebrate Read Across America week!

Check out our dedicated elementary teachers learning about the English Language Learner program in Gretna Public Schools. Huge shoutout to Mrs. Mulligan for her outstanding work!

These 4th graders had so much fun working together to make paper during art! They even talked Mrs. Sanders into giving it a try.

Celebrating Teacher Appreciation Day in a cozy way! Our board member Rick Hollendieck spreading smiles and gratitude by gifting blankets to our amazing teachers! Thank you for all you do!

This week, 3rd grade had some special visitors to help them learn about social studies. Elsie’s grandpa, Jim Warren, came to talk about his time as the mayor of Gretna. Mrs. Diaz and Mrs. Lilla came to talk about owning a business.

Students in 3rd-5th grade at GES used spheros over the past couple of weeks to explore, innovate, and create while learning more about computer programming. The smiles say it all!

Collaborative efforts in action from the Gretna Public Schools Elementary Principals! From brainstorming innovative ideas to making crucial decisions, our dedicated team is committed to fostering an environment of excellence for our students.
