4th grade had their first “Student of the Month” awards this morning to celebrate our character trait of respect. These students were nominated by their peers for showing respect to all classmates and staff members at our school! Way to go, 4th graders!

Today Superintendent Lightle stepped into a new role as school bus driver. From elementary to high school, students were surprised to see him behind the wheel. Our elementary students showed their approval with big smiles and a thumbs up. It was a wonderful reminder that leadership means being ready to help wherever needed. Thank you to Superintendent Lightle and all of our dedicated staff who make sure students arrive safely every day. #BeGretnaGreat

Students at Gretna Elementary had a front-row seat to some real-life learning today. From their classroom windows, they watched construction crews hard at work on the new parking lot. The excitement and curiosity on their faces showed how even everyday moments can spark wonder and learning. #BeGretnaGreat
